PAUL BUNYAN’S LUMBERJACK
COMPETITIONS
The Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show has been producing Lumberjack
Competitions since 1981.
Lee LeCaptain owner of the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show produces
the Open Lumberjack World Championships. This event has the largest
prize money ever comprised.

We have three different types of competitions:
1). Professional: These are the same guys as seen on ESPN. The
show is built to your specifications. In all, there are about
22 different events you can choose from. Example: logrolling,
hotsaw racing, speed climbing, wood chopping, cross-cut sawing,
axe throwing, and much much more!
The Professional competition works best on a one, or two day
format
One day running time approximately 5 hours.
Two day running time approximately 4 hours per day.
Space needed: 80’x 60’
We supply:
Competitors, chopping and sawing stands, Logrolling pool,
photo’s, video for press releases, logrolling pool, competition
production, tools (we also can supply wood for an additional cost)
production staff, and liability insurance.
2). Amateur: This is a great event because you can get the local
lumberjacks,
and wannabes involved.
The Amateur works best on a one, or two day format.
One day running day time approximately 4 hours depending on amount
of competitors.
Two day running time approximately 3 hrs per day, depending on amount
of competitors.
Space needed: 80’x 60’
We supply:
Chopping and sawing stands, logrolling pool,
photo’s, video for press releases, logrolling pool, competition
production, tools (we also can supply wood for an additional cost)
production staff, and liability insurance.
These competitors compete for trophies, prizes and bragging
rights.
3). Media Challenge: This is a great attention getter for your
event. Different media personal compete in a variety of safe
lumberjack events. The media will be talking weeks before and
after you event.
Media Challenge works best as a one day format to promote another
upcoming event.
Space needed: 50’ x 60’.
We supply:
Chopping and sawing stands, logrolling pool,
photo’s, video for press releases, logrolling pool, competition
production, tools (we also can supply wood for an additional cost)
production staff, and liability insurance.
The Media participants compete for trophies, prizes and bragging
rights.
4). Chainsaw Carving Competition: This event comprises of different
chainsaw artists competing is a variety of different sculptures.
The Amateur works best on a one, or two day format.
One day running day time approximately 6 hours depending on amount
of competitors.
Two day running time approximately 4 hrs per day, depending on amount
of competitors.
Space needed: 100’ x 60’
We supply:
Chainsaw carvers, photo’s, video for press releases, competition
production, tools (we also can supply wood for an additional cost)
production staff, and liability insurance.
These Competitors will compete for cash, prizes and bragging
rights.
